SCHOOL SPEAKER

SPEAKING INTERNATIONALLY IN SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES; A BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPEAKER; SPEAKER ON DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, AND WELL-BEING.

I'M A                                EDUCATOR AND INFLUENCER
PASSIONATE

 HOW I HELP IN EDUCATION/SCHOOLS

I am a passionate educator highly recommended by Ofsted. I am a great asset to schools supporting them with key curriculum subjects for PSHE, well-being, Diversity and Inclusion, and as a Black History Month keynote speaker.

I am a passionate, engaging and energetic educator, global transformational speaker and influencer; a forward thinker wanting to empower our young people with resiliency skills so they can live for tomorrow and thrive.

My personal story of embracing adversity and dealing with and overcoming setbacks positioned me in life to move from a victim mindset to an empowered mindset.

I am the man who, like a Giraffe, stuck my neck out for what I believed. Like Nelson Mandela, I was imprisoned and tortured for taking a stand against injustice in South Africa.

My passion is to educate, empower, enthuse, and enlarge the horizons of our youth.

I am on a mission to inspire young people to embrace mental toughness through keynote speaking, interactive workshops, and one-to-one meetings.

I help to motivate audiences of all shapes and sizes to overcome adversities and hardships, foster a positive mindset, develop self-awareness and grit, and, most importantly, enhance their self-belief.

PSHE WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Radically empowering young people with mental toughness skills, and resilience skills so they can overcome mental health in education. Empowering young people with resilience skills so they can bounce forward from adversity, and thrive, both in life and in education; moving them from a victim mindset to an empowering mindset.

Promoting Dive and inclusion

WHAT WOULD A DAY LOOK LIKE ?
The structure of the day:

(depending on the needs of the school)

THE FIRST HALF

THE SECOND HALF

One Love - whole school assembly

During the first half of the assembly, I share my journey. Whether ‘energetic’ in year 9, or ‘chatty’ in year 111, I have exceptional communication skills which gain me the full respect of students, leaving a silent room with students hanging on to my every word. Through my story I expand young people’s horizons and empower them to have empathy and always embrace kindness, a rare commodity these days.

30 to 60 minutes

Each one Teaches one

An entire day of back-to-back inspirational assemblies/classroom sessions, each lasting the duration of a lesson. Young people have an opportunity to interact with me and ask questions.

DEEP DIVE

I then deep dive into the world of motivation, overcoming fear, and dealing with setbacks. I share with the students practical tips on how they can start to build a better relationship with themselves and improve their mental health and well-being. Or, how they can be proactive in eradicating trauma caused by racism.

DEEP DIVE

Pupil Premium

This is an opportunity for 1-2-1 for students and teachers to explore issues raised either in the assembly or in the classroom. This is geared towards those pupils/students who do not have the confidence to ask questions in big groups,  or would like to have a safe space to explore further?

This will allow learners with low confidence an extra motivational push for their self-esteem.

Benefits for the students

Personal Lessons and practical tips for young people.

Resilience skills, tips, and an empowerment mindset.

Coping strategies with mental health challenges and overcoming self-limiting beliefs to THRIVE.
